If the centrifuge is ruptured or suspected to be ruptured during operation, the power supply should be turned off, and the aerosol should be allowed to settle for 30 minutes. If the centrifuge is found to be broken after stopping, immediately cover the lid and seal it for 30 minutes. Then clean up with sturdy gloves (such as thick rubber gloves and appropriate disposable gloves outside if necessary) and a mask (to avoid inhalation of aerosols).
Therefore, when performing operations that may generate aerosols, you should wear a mask, and it is a surgical mask with a strap, please note that it is not a disposable medical mask with ear loops. In addition, you should wear a mask when taking blood, and there is no need to wear a mask for other operations.
